Well, Xerox has developed a unique solution, “Color By Words”.  It’s found in their newest large format color printer (the Phaser 7500), and it’s  a powerful-yet-intuitive color technology that takes the guesswork out of optimizing your color print jobs.

With this feature there is no need to go back to square one and manipulate source files. You simply select the desired color modifications from a drop-down list in the print driver and “Color By Words” does the rest.  There are four drop down menus that when combined together make a logical descriptive command that tells the printer what you want to see in your output.  Examples might be “pale green colors a lot more green” or “red colors a lot more saturated” (or both combined). Either way, the Phaser 7500 print results are picture-perfect.
